Mini Review: Kodak Black’s “Lil BIG Pac”

Kodak Black may be locked up, but that’s not stopping him from dropping his 13 track mixtape, Lil BIG Pac. Paying homage to Pac and B.I.G., the Florida rapper shows love to the legends by appearing as a baby on the cover art, as a reference to Biggie’s debut album Ready to Die and sports a knotted bandana the way Pac wore his.

On this mixtape, we get the anticipated Gucci and Kodak collab, Vibin In This Bitch. The track is an undeniable bop as Kodak uses a flow that reminds us of Lil Wayne’s Hot Boy days and Gucci doesn’t disappoint either.

Download the mixtape here.

Though he may have set his shot a little too high with the cover art, the mixtape is a solid project. You can hear Kodak play around with his flows and sounds as he continues to tell his story of his upbringing. Also, congratulations are in order for the FL rapper because he was put on XXL’s Freshman Class list of 2016. Lil BIG Pac will not leave fans disappointed and may even convert more eyes onto Kodak.

Hot tracks: Everything 1k, Vibin In This Bitch, Too Many Years, Purp, Blood Sweat Tears Revenge
